| CAMPUS SUMMARY |
 |
The University of Oregon is a comprehensive research university founded in 1876. We are a member of the elite Association of American Universities, and are the flagship institution in Oregon. With more than 80 majors of study to choose from, our 20,000 students enjoy top-notch academic programs in a medium-sized university offering personal attention and a sense of community. Located in the lush Willamette Valley, the city of Eugene offers a beautiful backdrop for our university. You'll discover great coffee shops, bookstores and concert halls in a town that's a mix of small-town familiarity and big-city culture. You'll enjoy that we're an hour from the ocean, mountains and desert, and minutes from bike trails, rivers and sprawling parks. |
